She was beautiful had curves in all the right places, but when she started licking my face I knew something was wrong. Not just the licking, but how it felt. It didn't feel like a regular tongue felt, something was wrong. And suddenly this beautiful woman dissolved and I wasn't looking into the eyes of a stranger. It was my cat giving me the good morning/are you still alive/love me kiss. And as usual I gave her the I'm just going to pull the covers over my head and ignore you for another fifteen minutes roll. And she'd saunter off waiting to pounce again. Oh yes she saunters and she knows it.
Finally, I get out of bed do what it is I gotta do and still feeling like a zombie I refill bowls with food and water and head to my overly worn out laz-e boy and curl up in a blanket to watch the news. Well, not so much watch as have them lull me back to sleep. Soon after one or both of my cats decide to hop on with me. A whole lot of purring happens, and sometimes the cats will join in. I think they're a little embarrassed that I can purr on a much sexier level. I can't blame them, I am very good at what I do. Before you know it though all three of us are passed out on the couch while the weather man tells us what a beautiful day it's going to be.
An hour later I stretch and start to get up much to the disapproval of my sleep mates. There was work to be done and with their lack of motivation and opposable thumbs it was up to me. I change out of my Fairly OddParents pajama bottoms and into my jeans and I put on my High School Musical shirt. Dive in! And I head out and I admire the land that I get to call my own, avocados just taste better when they're grown by you and the guys you picked up in your van from the local Home Depot. Too much? Maybe. Anyway that is the start of a day when I don't have a show to do. I hope it was as enjoyable for you as it was for me. Now if you'll excuse me I really do have some news to tune out.
